Products for problemsthat already havemost of their answer.

Constellan makes products from what is already there: knowledge, routines, machines, software, and people. The new part is the way they work together.

Two very different problems. The same reason to start.

Constellan is working on its first two products.

Project oneIn development

Technical assistance for hardware call centers

Long-lived products leave knowledge spread across manuals, product history, past cases, and experienced people.

A product is being developed for hardware call centers that need a dependable answer while the customer is still on the line. Specifications, UX work, and coded prototypes exist. Design partners are next.

A shared home base for everyday household life

Expenses happen. Things need doing. Something runs out. A routine comes around again.

All of it already exists in a household. Keeping it current, shared, and usable too often lives in one person's head. An MVP has been built to take some of that weight.

Most of what is needed already exists.
Someone still has to hold the pieces together.

An idea does not become a product because it can be built.

  1. The problem exists outside the idea.

Before making a product, Constellan finds the people who have the problem and asks whether it is actually theirs.

  2. Enough of the answer is already there.

It can be in a database, a manual, a machine, a routine, or someone's experience. It can be difficult to reach. It does not have to be neatly organised. But there has to be something real to work with.

  3. The result works without its maker in the room.

A prototype can prove that something is possible. A finished product has to keep doing the job on an ordinary day, without someone holding it together by hand.

Constellan is new. The work behind it is not.

Constellan was started in Japan in 2026 by Sébastien Menin.

I started in customer support and call centers, then moved through internal systems, international IT, product development, project management, business development, and AI-driven R&D.

At Aiphone, I spent almost nine years building and connecting operational systems across international teams.

At Fenrir, the work expanded across larger digital products, design and engineering teams, international business, and AI-driven development.

The titles changed. A recurring part of the work did not: finding useful things that could not yet meet, and making the connection practical.

Commissioned work

Some problems belong to one organisation.

Constellan also takes commissioned work.

That can mean understanding a problem, structuring the work, making a prototype, improving a workflow, or building a smaller internal product when that is the right answer.

Consulting is different from Constellan's own products. The standard behind the work is not.
